Legomatics Robotics Club

Eukarya Christian Academy is proud to have several First Lego League Robotics Teams named Legomatics! Our Legomatics logo was designed and drawn by our own Clay Cook (2016: 7th Grade). Eukarya has fielded a minimum of one team for several years and is proud to have won several awards.

Meetings are twice a week – days vary depending on the team

Our focus is to seek to know God and His heart in all areas of life. Our journey includes growing in love for Jesus, family and others. Learning to make wise choices will come as we increase our knowledge of God’s Word. Realizing that God’s grace is sufficient to help as we encounter the difficulties of life is another area of our journey along with His Joy being our strength. Each girl will be encouraged to develop the specialness of their unique God given gifts and talents.

The girls will enjoy times of study of the Word of God and discussion with other girls about life issues they face on a practical basis. We will also be using a book entitled, “A Girl After God’s Own Heart” by Elizabeth George.

Times of service to others will include: baking and sharing with Fire and Police Departments to say “Thank You” for all you do in our communities. Nursing Home ministry: visit and share songs and crafts Writing letters and cards to service men and women to show compassion and love to all in any way that is possible.

The girls will have recreational times such as movie night with pizza and popcorn, bowling, skating, craft times, etc.

We desire to make His treasure our treasure, to focus on God’s
desires. “Where your treasure is. there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

Meeting two to four times per month

Mock Trial Team

Calling all high school, home schoolers! If you love acting or you are interested in law, Eukarya Christian Academy invites you to tryout for their mock trial team!

What is mock trial?  Mock trial is a team sport where students imitate a trial. On each team there are 3 attorneys and 3 witnesses. Attorneys memorize the rules of evidence and debate with their opponents over what is and is not admissible evidence. Witnesses pretend to be a character and try to be as entertaining and believable as possible.  It is a lot of fun, very competitive, and a great educational experience!

Mock trial practice will be held Fridays 4:30-7:00 at Eukarya Christian Academy.  Students are expected to put in about 5 hours of outside practice work.

The team will compete in 2 tournaments: Yale and States at William and Mary, and if successful Nationals in Reno, Nevada.

The tournament dates are:

Sept. 30- Oct 1

March 8-10

May 10-13

If you are interested in being apart of the mock trial team or you have any questions, contact the office at (540) 868-0081 or
