Sarah is originally from Staunton, Virginia but moved around a lot as a child in a military family. She received her bachelors in Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communications from James Madison University in 2017 and then her masters in College Student Personnel Administration from JMU in 2021. Within higher education, she has worked in alumni affairs, the university counseling center, the university leadership center and the office of residence life. She came to Eukarya in 2022 to teach worldview classes and provide counseling and tutoring services through The Learning Center. She now oversees Vox Civitas, the newsletter for the Eukarya Family Center, and coordinates the Tools of Success Program.

In her free time, Sarah loves geeking out about neuropsychology, drinking any warm beverage snuggled on a couch, hiking with her husband, dog and son, reading copious amounts of books, tending to her many plants and cooking to Dean Martin.
